The Municipality of Águeda, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Águeda, joined the “Paper for Food” campaign.
This campaign sponsored by the Food Banks, has environmental and solidarity contours, since the collected paper (newspapers, magazines, brochures, etc.) is converted into food products.
It is a campaign that aims to sensitize the community to the importance of the role of each person in society, whether in the recovery and reuse of recyclable goods, as well as to support the most fragile population.
The SACIA Group will join this campaign through the collaboration of all employees, using paper from offices and thus support the families of the municipality, since the collection of paper will allow the Food Bank of Aveiro to have more means to acquire food items to distribute to those most in need.
